Size Matters... nothing with this one!!

HOW CRAZY IS THIS? 🌀 Tropical Storm Edouard is a small, compact storm. Check out how tiny it looks compared to Hurricane / Superstorm Sandy in 2012 side-by-side. Sandy had a tropical storm wind field diameter of 1,000 miles...largest on record in the Atlantic.

Very small storm and little rainfall.

: Tropical Storm has made landfall with sustained wind of 60 mph just east of the TX/LA state line in Johnson Bayou, LA. A gust of 90 mph was reported nearby at Port Arthur, TX. Edouard is one of the smallest Atlantic basin tropical systems on record by wind field, which thankfully has limited its overall impact.

EL NINO AND HURRICANES

This El Niño can effectively have a momentary drop in shear at any time (temporarily). Assume that occurs and a depression forms in the Gulf heading to Houston, New Orleans or Tampa in the hottest water on record.
Easily a Cat 3/4 could hit any area!!
It only takes one and like real estate……it’s all about…….

This is so far beyond standard deviation it’s indescribable by me……the Gulf Is boiling and if sheer keeps hurricanes down this heat will produce massive winter storms particularly in the west!
