🌟 Nineteen Event Recap: An Afternoon of Impact, Inspiration, and Mindfulness 🌟
This past weekend, Nineteen held its 1st Inaugural Impact Celebration at Movement Gyms—an afternoon dedicated to reflecting on the powerful work of the 2024-2025 season, and to casting vision toward the future.
Together, we celebrated the moments that moved us, the leaders who inspired us, and the communities we’re honored to serve. We began the celebration with a yoga session, led by instructor, Erica Espitia, who instructed us to breathe in gratitude and exhale possibility. Also, with immense pride, we announced Nexus Family Recovery Center as Nineteen’s 2025-2026 grant recipient!
Serving solely women on their journey to recovery, Nexus is one of the few residential treatment centers in Texas that welcomes mothers with their children—helping families heal, grow, and stay together.
The afternoon was made even more powerful by remarks from Katie Overman, Nexus’ Chief Strategy Officer and newest Nineteen supporter, and a heartfelt speech by our very own Karen Hughes White, who shared why Nexus’ mission holds a deeply personal place in her heart.
Attendees closed the evening by writing messages of encouragement to the courageous mothers and children currently receiving care at Nexus—a beautiful reminder that together, we are building a .
