People love to tell me how “life insurance is a scam” - I’m sorry but no.
Knowing you don’t have enough to pay for your own burial or take care of your family if you pass is a scam.
The cost of a Starbucks order a month towards a premium that could send them a big check to protect their livelihood isn’t a scam, it’s a blessing.
I have seen what a death claim payment for a grieving family can do…

Hello 👋 it’s me again, with another truth 💣 for those of you who’s favorite things to say is
“I don’t need life insurance I have it through my job” 🙄 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

🛑 a few important things people often do not realize about employer provided life insurance 🛑

•coverage through work is usually tied to your active employment status

•if you become sick after leaving your job, getting coverage later would be more expensive or unavailable.

•employer policies usually do not build cash value & are not portable by default.

These are a few of the reasons people choose to also OWN a personal life insurance policy separate from work - so their coverage stays with them regardless of:

-job changes
-layoffs
-retirement
-health changes later in life

Essentially, it’s a great perk to have as a benefit from your company, but point blank life happens and that employer owned policy is not enough.

YES it’s meant for their future. It’s also meant for….

•if they became sick and I needed that extra cash
•if there was an unexpected expense for their education
•the down payment for that first car that may be a little more than expected.

The list goes on, but the answer is the same.

If the unimaginable happened to one of them right now I wouldn’t know what to do, I know that.
That is completely unpredictable.
I also know the first question a funeral home would ask me is “did you have a life insurance policy?”
Absolutely predictable.

An IUL is a permanent policy they can keep throughout their lifetime. Into adulthood.
With no term or time lapse.
That builds a cash value that I can access if absolutely needed for them or when they become of age is given to them. To build and grow or use.

🌺 Mothers Day is coming 🌺
•Mamas - we do everything we can for them to have the life we want for them regardless of our own exhaustion, stress, wants, needs.. and we would do it again and again with no question.
•We would work two jobs so they don’t do without, stand in front of anything sent to hurt them.
•But let me ask, >would you do the simple things?
Be healthy for them, manage your money for them? Get LIFE insurance on yourself for their future, get LIFE insurance on them for their own futures?
•You may not see the importance in it now - but they will understand the love you had for them to do it then.
🩷mom to mom > getting the policy takes a small bit of that “what would happen to them if something happened to me?” away…. And a small bit of peace takes its place.
-> waiting, thinking about it, saying “yes I need to do that” and not doing it doesn’t serve anyone, i feel like we took this photo a month or so ago - it was years - they pass in a blink and you barely have time to notice.
