When I tell you I have heard HORROR stories, honey believe me.
Any property you own whether it is your primary residence, a rental, an air bnb, a vacant home your flipping etc - HAS to be covered correctly.
Trust, I have seen plenty that are not 🫣
But, that isn’t your job to know that it is - it’s your responsibility to give accurate information to the agent to insure it correctly. And if it isn’t…….

You don’t get life insurance “on” your kids. You get life insurance FOR your kids.
FOR:
If they became sick and uninsurable in the future.
If they get into trouble and are uninsurable in the future.
If they have an emergency and need the cash value in the future…..

They can’t do it for themselves while they’re young, you (parents/grandparents) have to do it so it’s in place and available FOR them.
Yes, my kids have it - my only regret is not doing it for them sooner - as I personally have been uninsurable for a 5 year period myself.

MEET THE AGENT 👋

Hi, I’m Katy. Agent and Agency owner of the Katy Lemons Agency.
I have been in the Insurance industry and with Farmers Insurance for two years. I started as a customer service representative. I became fully licensed in the state of Oklahoma, moved up to a producer role, obtained two blue vase awards for Life Insurance Sales, went through the Farmers Protege Program and moved into agency ownership.
I love Insurance because I love people, I love having a hand in what protects you, your loved ones and the assets you have worked hard for. I love Farmers Insurance because it is a family also.
I was previously in the beauty industry as a stylist and educator for a 15 years. I still take care of several clients today.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my sons and my family. Watching my boys play their favorite sports, going to the lake, hiking, and playing with my dogs.

Terribly sad but unfortunately a story we are hearing more and more frequently right now.
This is not the time to:
1. Not know what the verbiage on your insurance policies mean.
2. Not be covered at all.
3. Have AVC rather than replacement cost coverage on your home.
