When Kenneth Arthofer visited Dupaco’s Sycamore Street branch, he spotted a familiar name among the credit union’s past leaders: his grandmother, Gladys!

Gladys worked at Dubuque Packing Company and served on Dupaco’s Board of Directors at a time when women in leadership roles were rare. Learning about her involvement gave Kenneth a whole new appreciation for her legacy.

From joining as a member to using Dupaco to finance his home with a VA loan, Kenneth has continued that family connection in his own way. Today, he keeps a photo of his grandmother in his home office as a reminder that his financial journey is part of something bigger: a family legacy that continues through Dupaco. 🧡
