The C&B Better Initiative sparked from teammates looking for a way to give back to the community. Last week, participating employees came together to award a total of $50,000 in funding to three incredible organizations making a difference in our community.
2026 Grant Recipients:
1st: Children's Cancer Connection | $25,000
2nd: Dubuque Rescue Mission | $15,000
3rd: River Bend Food Bank, St. Stephen's Branch | $10,000
There's no doubt these non-profits are accomplishing impactful work, and after hearing from each organization, our team was excited to award the top grant to Children's Cancer Connection, who will utilize the donation for their Camp Heart Connection. This camp provides life-changing experiences for children affected by cancer and their families at no cost and C&B Better Initiative funding will help cover all costs of camp next summer for 40 participants from Dubuque!
