Members of the MedOne Team are returning from the 2026 Iowa Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting! This event brings together students and other experts in pharmacy for two days of policy shaping, professional development, research sharing, and network building.

This year's meeting (broken up by a weather-induced power outage and a brief trip to the tornado shelter) featured insightful keynotes, delegate sessions, poster presentations, resident research, and focused discussions on advancing pharmacy practice in Iowa.

Our team looks forward to this event each and every year. It's a great salute to the future of pharmacy.

MedOne's summer interns attended the Talent Dubuque Welcome Lunch this week where they able to listen to speak on components to having a successful life and career! Lisa spoke on how to wake up every morning with the goal to be your best self, outgoing, and "awesome". Those in the room at the Grand River Center learned that being able to build relationships and communicate with people is a key component to success in everything.

Break out the BBQ & Iced Tea, too! Our event at the Houlihan's patio at the Q Casino + Resort felt like an authentic, Midwestern barbeque.

We kept things simple with BBQ-style staples, signature Long Island iced teas, with some friendly competition. The prizes? Coolers that contained condiments, Cremer's Meats, and cold beverages, of course!

Efficiency incoming! MedOne Pharmacy Services, our mail order pharmacy recently added a Parata filling machine to the team!

Parata helps handle some basic filling responsibilities so our team can stay focused on accuracy, providing quality member service, and getting medication out the door. It also helps us keep a closer eye on our on-hand medication inventory.

For MPS, all of those details matter. This is one more way we're supporting our pharmacy team and the members who count on us everyday.

With spring in the AIR and in the spirit of our Founder’s Day, we offered a little employee FUNdraiser, too. MedOne employees were invited to show their appreciation for their teammates with some Gratitude Grams for a Great Cause!

"Grammers" selected either a custom MedOne sticker or an airhead (or both!) and wrote some of the most heartfelt and moving messages to their fellow team members. Each card was then handwritten by a member of our social committee before being mailed off with the corresponding gram to the lucky recipient!

The best part? All proceeds from the gratitude grams initiative benefited Camp Albrecht Acres, a nonprofit residential camp dedicated to individuals with special needs of all ages.
