New addition to our group, welcome Connor Murrell!

Former basketball star and coach, Connor is built for the grind that is retail mortgage lending.

He and I have spent a good chunk of time together this year and I've learned the following about him:

1. Jocks are far from dumb
2. His daily coffee intake trumps my own, which is pretty impressive
3. Connor is fearless AND coachable, a potent combination for extreme success
4. His hungar to improve and talent fire me up probably more than I fire him up

We have a saying in our group..."Iron on Iron". Connor CHOSE our team. He could've picked other options that would have been less intense with softer accountability. He WANTS pushed. He WANTS to find his ceiling, then redefine it.

We are not for everyone. And that's why I don't get on here and full court press as many loan officers as possible to join our mission. We are selective. Connor fits, because the standard is the standard and he isn't scared.

What's the hardest aspect of being a sales leader? Creating and maximizing the time you have to do the job at a high level. But, what's high level?

1. Being available to help every individual on your team, and sometimes those who aren't, not only with the daily items they need (escalations, competitive pricing, sizing up deals, relationship building,etc.) but also actual coaching and development. Not lip service. Not pats on the back. Legitimately leading others towards their potential. That's a full time job.

2. Seeking out the right people to join your tribe. Yes, we hawk the production numbers but that's only part of the story. There are plenty of excellent volume producers with bad energy who are rude and overly selfish. We require great people who work hard and treat others with respect and kindness. Culture wins. And great people are hard to find.

3. Produce enough business to add value to the organization and your team and demonstrate you are a relevant leader who understands how to win, NOW, not just in the past. No armchair quarterbacking.

I have 4 children, and 2 step children.
Last month I wrapped up another run of 75 Hard.
I travel for work and pleasure, often.
There is no fat in my schedule.
My long time assistant quit without notice day 1 of my summer family vacation.
Plans go sideways. I adapt. I win.

And here are the results...

Nearly 27 Million over the past 5 months.

3 of my loan officers have had career record months over this stretch.

This success has been possible because I am blessed to have incredible past customers, realtor and financial partners, years of wins and losses to share with others, a high desire to do well and serve, and Lower Mortgage supporting me.

If you know me you know I do not enjoy self promotion. I avoid social media because of it. Yet, if you don't share with others the success you're experiencing, how will they know?

If you're interesting in partnering with me in any capacity you will get someone who will run through a wall to help you. I treat my referrals partners, clients and coworkers like family. Sometimes I get burned, but that's ok.

Over 4 million in October is ELITE. That would be an all-time high for many excellent loan officers. She has hit at least this number 3 times in 2025 alone. In addition, Lauren hit her all-time career personal best with us in June (over 7 mil).

I truly do not know how many loan officers are hitting personal benchmarks in 2025, but my guess would be not too many.

Our team doesn't sit around and whine about inflation, elevated interest rates, or make excuses for things we don't control. We show up. We work. We serve. We win.

Lauren, well done! It has been a pleasure to lead you, learn from you, work with you, and lock arms in this industry. Oh, and congrats on Presidents Club 2025!

I cannot believe you've only been with us for a little over 6 months. Your hard work and commitment to doing whatever it takes to improve has energized our entire group and I am grateful to be a part of your story.
