If you have Medicare and use insulin, you may benefit from a new first-of-its-kind program starting next year that will result in cost savings for the life-saving medication.

Today Humana announced support of a public-private partnership that is part of an overall goal to improve the health and well-being of people with Medicare. As a result of the Medicare Part D Senior Savings Model, people with Medicare who use insulin could see an average annual out-of-pocket savings of $446 for their insulin starting next year.
