What an inspiration to see with these kids being polite and showing gratitude! Congratulations to the 6th graders!

First FULL day of school today and we are already starting strong! Mrs. Opp's 5th grade class from last year (so 6th grade now) received a Noteworthy Award from GiveThx over the summer! If you remember, GiveThx was a program we used to tell other staff and students thank you throughout the year. 5th grade stood out in the GiveThx network as a class with the strongest regular gratitude practice, strongest class connection, and strongest facilitator connection. The award recognizes them as a class that has built something real-a culture where students and educators feel seen. They sent over 158 Thx notes with 100% class participation! Congratulations to the class and we hope that you continue to lead your peers and teachers on ways to show gratitude throughout this school year!
