Congratulations to our September Practical Nursing Student of the Month, Kristen Baka! 💙

Kristen has been recognized for the compassion, cultural awareness, and caring attitude she demonstrates toward patients, their families, and her fellow students.

During a recent clinical experience, Kristen took the initiative to learn more about how a patient’s cultural background could influence their individual needs and care. She then shared what she learned with her classmates, helping create a valuable learning opportunity about the importance of approaching each patient with understanding, respect, and an open mind.

Kristen is also a supportive classmate who consistently demonstrates kindness and compassion toward others — qualities that will serve her well throughout her nursing career.

Please join us in congratulating Kristen on this well-deserved recognition! We are proud of her continued growth and look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in the future.

Giving back to the community is a key part of my mission statement. This past weekend i was able to sponsor Nate, Nick, and Coach Michael Gralla to participate at the DuBois Area Jaycees golf scramble! Not only was I able to sponsor our team but also the proceeds go to the annual Jaycee scholarships to help local students!! Thank you Jaycees for putting on an awesome event.

My team and I take pride in providing excellent service. To accomplish this we are open late during the week and every Saturday from 9-noon. If you work a traditional 9-5 job, we are available for you!
