As most know, mortgage interest rates have increased significantly over the last year. We have gone from around 3.0% to 5.5% or higher. So are rates ridiculously high now? No - to the contrary, we have been blessed with ridiculously LOW rates for the last few years. Check out this chart that show rates over the last 50 years. It brings to mind, "what have you done for me lately".

Attended a forum this morning "State of Dripping Springs". As always, so impressed with our county commissioner Walt Smith and DS Mayor Bill Foulds.
Being involved in real estate lending, how we manage insane growth is so impt to my business. Can't wait to attend this sane forum in 20 years and see where we are.

Wow - hard to believe it's been 20 years! From a brainstorm on how to support 4H/FFA kids to having raised and donated over a $1.5 million. It takes only one to start something. It takes a village of some 20 of the most caring, hardworking, selfless friends to make it grow and shine. The Lone Star Cattlemen leadership is where the credit goes. You guys are pure on AWESOME!

BIG NEWS! - HUGE INCREASE IN COMFORMING LOAN LIMIT! The Federal Housing Finance Agency announced today the conforming loan limits for 2022 - $647,200 ($98,950 higher than the current limit).
