Sunrise this morning. Just finished our new courtyard and entry to our Kanab home. Such a peaceful setting surrounded by towering red cliffs. Inside is also finished and will share the remodel. Ann really out did herself with this one. Tranquil and relaxing to match the outside feeling. Starting this spring we will be taking reservations directly and AirB&B. Come and enjoy this magical place in the center of several national parks and the funnest tours with Roam Outdoor Adventure Tours. I have had so much fun guiding some of them while I have been here this past year doing this remodel.

First ride on my new E-mountain bike. Pretty darn fun! Come down to Kanab and ride the new Tilted Mesa trail system. It’s a blast!

Love coming back to our log home this time of year. Been working on our Kanab home for 9 months and almost finished. We will be AirB&B the Kanab home for the next year or two. I will send photos when the courtyard and pool landscaping is all done. This spring it spring will be beautiful when the hundred or so plants and trees all come out.

First clear day looking out over the North Rim of the Grand Canyon with no smoke or visible flare ups. It was sad to watch the gigantic flare ups from our house. The house is getting close to being completed. Countertops and fixtures and the added pool deck and courtyard landscaping and then I can come home to Draper. We will@post some before and after because this place has gone thru a major transformation thanks Ann’s tremendous vision of its potential.

House in Kanab isn’t quite ready yet. But the pool is well used! Pool party with our grandkids! They are painting interior now. New kitchen cabinets come in two weeks then quartz. Pool and courtyard walls expanding and the landscaping courtyard and entry then stucco repairs and new stucco last. Finished staining all the beautiful wood doors last night late. It’s all coming together!

It’s demo week at our new Kanab mini ranch. Sitting on 2.5 acres at the base of the Vermilion Cliffs just 10 minutes from Kelsey and family we are so excited to begin this remodel. As a second home closer to our 3 grandkids we will also AirB&B it for a couple years after we are finished with the work. If you’re itching to swing a sledge hammer and break down some walls, come join us for some fun! As you all know it is something Ann and I really love doing together and with her vision of what this place will become, it’s going to be exciting and expensive!! Ha but what the heck. We will post the progress.
