Jim Brassard has been in the life and disability insurance industry since 1982. He started as a brokerage representative with a nationally known insurance carrier. Jim was promoted to Senior Brokerage Representative and continued to design, train and underwrite the sales of these products . Jim has authored several industry articles regarding disability and life insurance and is a frequent speaker
at industry meetings. Jim opened his agency in 1994 to better meet the needs of his clients and the changes taking place in the insurance industry. “We felt that we needed to become more independent of the insurance companies, choosing which companies could excel in products, pricing and service for our clients. The days of selling only one company’s products to all our clients are over. We advise our clients on products that meet their needs.”
Jim enjoys working with clients who have a hard time getting insurance due to a change in their medical history. “I take great satisfaction in our ability to secure insurance coverage for these people. It’s a great feeling knowing that you truly helped someone who desperately wants and needs coverage that they have been unable to get.
