First Time Homebuyers... You need to think about homebuying as a "life changing event", not just a home purchase.

Buying a home is a one of, if not, the best way to begin building wealth. I wish someone had this conversation with me instead of me finding out the hard way and putting myself in "bad" debt buying a bunch of things in my 20's that I don't even remember on credit cards that I spent the next 10 years paying off. (Sorry for the rant, lol)

Look at this example of buying a 350K home with just 3.5% down payment and the equity one would have after 9 yrs (avg time in house). Even in 5 or 6 years it can be a game changer.
