Still beats paying your landlord’s mortgage.

Rates were already high coming into this week. As of last Friday, that meant an average 30yr fixed rate just under 7.5%. As of this Friday, we're closer to 8%.

Loan officers can truly be a dime a dozen. You could pick any loan officer off the street, and they may be able to help you meet your goals. So, you may ask yourself, why should you work with me? And I am not offended by that question at all! This is a huge milestone in your life, and I understand that. Before I became a licensed loan officer, I started at an entry level position as an opener not knowing I would fall in love with mortgages, from there I moved to secondary (locking rates), then moved to processing where I learned the ins and out of programs, qualifying borrowers, and asking all the right questions up front to avoid disappointments and bumps in the road.
