Recently, we had the opportunity to visit the New York Stock Exchange for the ringing of the bell.

What stood out most wasn’t what we expected.

The trading floor was surprisingly calm—far from the fast-paced, chaotic environment many of us imagine. With so much of today’s trading happening electronically, the experience offered a different kind of perspective… one rooted in history, evolution, and long-term thinking.

We also had the chance to see Peter Tuchman—often referred to as the “Einstein of Wall Street”—and meet Roger Ibbotson, a world-renowned economist whose work has helped shape modern investment research.

Moments like this are a reminder of how much perspective matters in this industry—and how important it is to stay focused on what truly drives long-term outcomes.

We’re grateful for the experience and even more grateful to be able to bring that perspective back to the conversations we have with our clients every day. 🐢
