The RISE Economy & Bank of America meeting was informative; however, only time will tell if BoA listens to a 43 year business client and 9 year shareholder with significant experience at the intersection of banking and community development.

I flew up for this meeting hoping to speak with Andrew Plepler, Chief Administrative officer at the bank; however, he was a no show. He was represented by Katie McQuaid and many other teammates.

Now for a pre-flight - flight.

I have help to drive over $50,000,000 of lending into the Crenshaw corridor from Slauson to Obama and have delivered capital to borrowers of color from a variety of sources. What I have learned is that size matters and big banks and government programs are the most difficult sources of capital.
