As many of you know, I’m fairly vocal in calling out storm chasers when they show up on our local community pages right after a storm. I do this because I have had customers burned by door knockers. We have many great contractors here in DG that have been around for many years building their business and I’d prefer to see people call them. On Friday I called out a company, and their response was to call one of my sons, thinking it was me and threaten him with physical violence. They then called me and threatened to come to my house and “shut me up”. The whole interaction proved my point, which is to do your homework. Call your Insurance Agent/Broker or your local Chamber of Commerce and ask if they have a trusted contractors that they work with. Stay safe!
