Our current situation is unprecedented in our lifetime. We will overcome this. We will do so by putting our best self forward. We will do so by controlling our fear instead of letting it control us. We will do so by finding opportunity to be the best we can be amidst the current uncertainty. We will do so by focusing on that which we can control and not squandering our energies on that which we cannot control.

When we quarrel amongst ourselves we have lost focus of the goal. We must work to get through this and do so in a manner that what is to be found other side is as close as possible to what we had before this started.

We can all do something to some measure to take care of our community. We all have a part to play and something to contribute. We must realize that it is up to each of us. There is great power in individual responsibility. There is greater sacrifice required when you rely on the collective.

Life, liberty, and livelihood are all three important. Impacting one affects all three. Our solutions must not ignore one for the sake of another, for if they do, that which we protect has still been injured by the loss of the other.

To paraphrase a wise man who has influenced my life profoundly, love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.
