I see people saying Life Insurance is a scam but if you died today do you have money to be buried??
Meaning do you have the money for the cost of a casket and plot!? Let's not forget the headstone.
Even if you decide to get cremated there's still a cost for that as well and from my experience, even if folks get cremated they still want a funeral service i.e. ppl come to funeral home to have a celebration of life and repast
Or do you plan to pass that cost onto loved ones?? Not caring what financial bind that may put them in!?
Definitely won't be able to pass on any generational wealth that way!
I can proudly say that I myself have doubled down on my coverage of Life Insurance with an accidental life policy in addition to already having a Life Insurance policy since I ride a motorcycle, meaning if I die by an accident my loved ones will receive 2 payouts, one from the accidental policy and of course from my life policy.
I will also be adding a Cash Cancer policy because as we know, everything is giving us cancer nowadays unfortunately.
I only mention this because I practice what I preach and in the African American community we need to stop with the fish fry's and GoFundMe's as these policies I speak of are very affordable and definitive unlike fish fry's or GoFundMe's, which only adds another level of stress as you are hoping to meet the financial goal which it is very hard to raise $8,000.00 within 7-14 days as I have witnessed many times for myself.
