Don't forget to let your insurance agent know if your home has a new roof. You will need to provide an invoice so your policy can be updated for roof age and potentially change your roof valuation from actual cash value to replacement cost.

This will likely mean a decrease in premium, and better coverage for your roof. 👍

Rather than asking for one of our agents by name, please tell the associate who answers that you would like to file a claim.

From supply chain issues and increased driving activity to severe weather events and inflation, the market is seeing significant disruptive factors that drive up costs.

You’ve undoubtedly noticed these changes are impacting every corner of the economy, including insurance rates. Like many others, the insurance industry must also adapt and raise rates to cover the increasing costs to repair or replace damaged cars and property.

Large rate increases are never easy to swallow, especially with inflation impacting other daily living expenses, but hopefully this infographic (link below) can provide some insight into why insurance rates are on the rise.
