Join us for the annual Douglas Pumpkin Carving LIVE DEMO, a fun-filled event for the whole family!

Watch professional pumpkin carver Shannon bring giant pumpkins to life right before your eyes! An accomplished ice and pumpkin sculptor, Shannon is known for transforming massive blocks of ice and giant pumpkins into intricate, three-dimensional works of art. His distinctive style blends realism with imagination, and his talent has been showcased through demonstrations, competitions, and large-scale public art displays.

📍 WHERE: Parking lot of the former police station, at the corner of Center & Spring Streets.

♻️ Final 2026 Household Hazardous Waste & E-Waste Collection Event!

As a reminder, Allegan County’s final Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Collection Event of 2026 is happening this Saturday, October 3!

📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026
⏰ 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
📍 Otsego DPW
243 N. Farmer Street, Otsego

This event is open to all Allegan County residents. Please remember to bring a driver’s license or other ID showing Allegan County residency.

This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of eligible household hazardous materials and electronic waste before the end of the year.
