I'm pleased to announce that my son Taylor has recently completed his first year with Hara Financial Services as a full fledged financial advisor. Congrats Taylor! I also wanted to give a shout out to my admin Lexie on completing 5 years of service with Hara Financial Services. Lexie also celebrated her birthday this past Monday. Happy Birthday Lexie! We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving last month. This is Taylor's favorite time of the year. Not because of sweet potato pies and turkey legs, but because it's deer season! He got his first deer of the year on the day before Thanksgiving, and then followed it up a few days later with his first ever deer off of his farm down in Hartford. For any of our clients that are fellow hunters, we hope you're having a good deer season so far! If you know anyone that wishes they could spend more time hunting and less time working during deer season, be sure to send them Taylor's way so he can work on getting them retired and out in the deer woods whenever they want.

Last week, Sean's wife Kate flew to Seattle to see her sister Cindy for the last time. A couple months ago, she was having back pain. After seeing her doctor, who referred her to a specialist, the conclusion was stage 4 pancreatic cancer. At this point, she's been given less than 2 months to live. Hospice has been called in. Kate mentioned that her visit is very upbeat. They've been talking about the kids, and their mama. Please keep Cindy and her husband Jim in your prayers!

As we draw closer to the end of 2025, Sean, Taylor and I would like to thank all of our clients, friends and business relationships for another great year. Since Taylor and I are younger, we know that marketing is done mainly through social media. We've been able to keep our fees down due to low overhead, specifically advertising costs. Approximately 2 weeks ago, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated while doing a college campus debate in Utah. It makes me wonder how we've gotten to the point where murdering someone you don't agree with is justified. I can see something like this happening in a communistic country or third world nation. But this is the USA! One of the things Charlie put first was God. When his wife Erika spoke at his memorial this past Sunday, she said with tears running down her face that she forgives Charlie's killer. Wow, just wow! In the state of Alabama, college football divides us. I, personally, went to Auburn. Even though I didn't like ex-Alabama coach Nick Saban, I respected him. Coach Saban asked his followers to pray for Charlie Kirk. Coach Saban, you the man! RIP Charlie Kirk!!!

This past week, Sean and his wife Kate attended the LPL FOCUS annual conference in San Diego. Also attending was Sean's oldest son Taylor, along with his wife Sabrina. Taylor joined our practice roughly 3 months ago as an LPL Financial Advisor. At the conference, Sean and Taylor were able to attend many breakout sessions, as well as get their continuing education completed. During the free evenings, they attended the San Diego Padres vs Boston Red Sox, which the Padres won in extra innings. They were also able to go a dinner event at the Hotel Del Coronado, and dip their feet in the freezing cold Pacific Ocean. On the last day, they were able to get a front row seat for Maroon 5, which LPL Financial hired for the final night concert. Sean and I would like to announce that Taylor Hara has officially become an LPL Financial Advisor! As a student at Auburn University, the attached pics showed Taylor attending an LPL Annual Conference in Boston, MA back in 2017. I guess being a financial advisor was in his blood. Since 2017, Taylor graduated from Auburn with a degree in Finance, and has worked in the financial services industry with Invesco and Robinhood. Taylor is fully licensed and is accepting new clients. Today for lunch, Kate and I took Lexie to the Old Mill for Administrative Assistants Day. Lexie has been nothing short of great for our small financial advisory practice. Hara Financial Services is pleased to announce the addition of Sean's son, Taylor Hara. Taylor will come onboard as a full fledged financial advisor, after a brief training program through LPL Financial.

Taylor was born in Dothan and graduated from Northview High School. Taylor then received an academic scholarship to Auburn University, where he graduated with a Finance degree in 2017.

After Auburn, Taylor worked as a sales rep with Hershey's in Colorado. He then took an internal wholesaler position with Invesco in Atlanta, covering AL, GA, TN, SC and the panhandle of FL. Recently, Taylor worked remotely at Robinhood Financial, an online retail brokerage firm out of Menlo Park, CA.

Taylor and his wife Sabrina live in Headland, AL with their two dogs, Coosa and Sapphire. Taylor enjoys anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

After his training, Taylor will be accepting new clients. Sean has been a financial advisor for 33 years. He'll teach Taylor everything there is to know about being a successful financial advisor. Welcome aboard Taylor!!!

In late February, Sean and some of his family members embarked on a trip to Park City, UT. It was also bittersweet, as his youngest son Hunter boarded a Delta flight to Japan, where he'll be living and working for at least 1 year.

For those of you that don't know Sean's sister Eden, approximately 1 1/2 years ago she was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. What's surprising is she never smoked a day in her life. Eden went through chemo and eventual surgery at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. Around 6 months ago, her doctor's said she was cancer free. Praise the Lord!

After Eden built her strength back up, Sean promised her a ski trip. Eden was so full of energy and life, she went down the mountain backwards a couple times. Sean's wife Kate, his middle son Logan and his other sister Noelle all celebrated Eden on this trip.
