BIG NEWS FOR MIAMI 🎓🌴

Ken Griffin has announced a historic $3 billion gift to Carnegie Mellon University, including $2 billion to launch a new campus in Wynwood.

Planned for more than 35 acres, CMU Miami will bring students, researchers and industry together to tackle challenges in health, national security, climate resilience and advanced manufacturing, drawing on the university’s strengths in AI and robotics.

I’m especially happy for Wynwood. It has come a long way, and bringing a university of this caliber to the neighborhood could mark a new chapter for Miami’s future.
