The RMA just announced deferral of interest charges due to the challenges farmers and ranchers are facing in many parts of the country. Interest accrual on premium payments and administrative fees will be waived to the earliest of an additional 60 days of the scheduled payment due date or the termination date on policies with premium billing dates between July 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026.

Just wanted to give a heads up:

Anyone that is considering planting canola, the sales closing is August 31st!!!!

In addition, if you are going to or even considering it, we HAVE to have a Written Agreement submitted to the RMA before sales closing of August 31st, 2026.

Canola has not been established as a crop in Illinois without a Written Agreement as of yet.

Please spread the word to anyone you know who is or is considering planting canola for the 2027 crop year!

Hope everyone is enjoying the good weather and getting everything in the ground!

If you are already finished planting, please go ahead and get your acres reported with the FSA office and have them send us a copy of your report.

If you are needing to replant please remember to contact us first so that we can get a claim turned in for you. Or, if you have any questions or need anything else please go ahead and give us a call also.

County Expected Yields for SCO and ECO options.

If we have not already contacted you about this, we will be very soon! In the meantime here is some information about Enhanced Coverage Option(ECO) and Supplemental Coverage Option(SCO). These are add on products to your individual insurance policy. They are area based (county wide) products that are meant to cover the deductible part of your individual policy. We are always available to answer any and all questions concerning these and any other product you may have questions on. Thank you!!!!
