Labor Day weekend feels like the right time to finally share what we’ve been building quietly for the past few months. Board by board, test by test, we’ve pushed into work that takes patience, precision, and a willingness to go further than most shops around here ever attempt. Every failed print taught us a valuable lesson. Every wood finish got refined. And now the lineup is exactly where it needs to be — deliberate, honest, and built one piece at a time.

Our ChromaLuxe Metal Panel lineup includes 5×17, 5×11, 11×14, and 12×18 panels. Portrait or landscape, clean edges, rich color, and a modern, polished feel. Custom sizes available.

Our SubliSlate Stone Panel lineup brings a different presence, with real stone pieces in 5×9, 6×8, 8×8, 8×12, and a 12‑inch round. Natural chipped edges, glossy finish, solid weight. Custom slate sizing available.

There’s a gallery in Galena that sells metal & slate prints, and the photographer behind the work has a great eye.
They use good panels and real wood.
But materials alone don’t make a piece — the build, the finish, and the presentation do.
We’re not a gallery and we don’t sell stock.
We make every piece to order, with real weight and presence.

We Don’t Do Clearance

It’s funny how some places have to clear out stacks of work just to make room for more of the same. That’s the gallery cycle — fast turnover, fast discounts, fast forgettable.

We don’t play that game.
We don’t need to.
And we never will.

There are projects that feel like work, and then there are projects that feel like and mean something more.

This maple burl and ChromaLuxe panel became one of those “something more” pieces. What started as a simple idea from my mother turned into a piece that felt like it needed a purpose beyond the bench — something that carried a little heart with it.

Every pass of the sander, every bit of finish, every detail in the grain seemed to build toward that purpose. Some pieces just do that. They slow you down. They make you think about the people, the moments, and the stories that shape the place you call home.

We’re donating this piece to the Grant County Cancer Coalition — an organization that stands beside families when life gets heavy and uncertain. Their work matters. Their presence matters. And it means a lot to be able to send them something handcrafted, something real, something made with intention.

This piece carries more than a photo. It carries gratitude, hope, and the quiet strength that comes from being part of a community that shows up for one another.

We’ve had something in the works for a while now — slow, steady, hands‑on work that’s finally getting close. New panels, new materials, and a whole new way to bring photos forward are almost ready to share. Everything has been built with the same care and the same honest approach we put into every piece that leaves our shop.
We’re not showing anything just yet.
But Labor Day weekend… that’s when the full reveal happens.
