💥 90% of all proceeds go directly back into our local Fairview community, especially to programs that support our youth.
🎖️ The remaining 10% helps local veterans receiving treatment in nearby hospitals and facilities — offering much-needed support to their families.

If you’re on Medicare in Tennessee, did you know there’s a program that can help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses? The Medicare Savings Program (MSP) is designed to assist eligible individuals by paying for certain Medicare costs like premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance.

What does it cover?
• Helps pay Medicare Part A & B premiums
• May reduce costs for prescriptions
• Covers deductibles and copayments

Who is eligible?
If you’re a Tennessee resident and meet income and resource limits, you may qualify. For 2025, the income limits are generally:
• $1,760/month for a single person
• $2,380/month for a couple

Eligibility also depends on your resources (savings, investments, etc.), and the program can save you hundreds of dollars a year!

How to apply?
You can apply online through the Tennessee Medicaid website, or visit your local Department of Human Services (DHS) office.

Medicare Prescription Drug Plans: Extra Help in 2025 - Important Updates You Should Know

In 2025, the Extra Help program has undergone some important changes that could benefit many Medicare beneficiaries. The most notable change is the shift to a full subsidy for all eligible individuals starting January 1, 2024.

This means that if you qualify for Extra Help, you will receive 100% assistance with premiums, deductibles, and co-pays, significantly reducing your out-of-pocket costs.

Previously, some people received partial subsidies based on their income level (e.g., 25%, 50%, or 75%). Now, under the new rules, everyone who meets the eligibility criteria will be entitled to the full subsidy.

Additionally, the income limit for full subsidy eligibility has been raised from 135% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to 150% of FPL, expanding the number of people who can benefit from the program.

For those applying in 2025, it's important to keep in mind that eligibility is determined by your income and resources, which have specific thresholds outlined by the Social Security Administration.

With these updates, the Extra Help program continues to make prescription medications more affordable for those in need.
