💡 Tuesday Tip
Not every medical situation requires a trip to the emergency room.
For true emergencies—such as chest pain, stroke symptoms, difficulty breathing, or serious injuries—the ER is the right choice.
For non-emergencies like minor injuries, infections, cold and flu symptoms, or other routine concerns, urgent care is often faster and less expensive.
‼️A few quick reminders:
✔ Confirm the facility accepts Medicare.
✔ Call your primary care provider first if time allows.
✔ Understand how your Medicare plan covers urgent care and ER visits.
Knowing where to go can help you get the care you need while avoiding unnecessary costs.
