With the impending changes in Realtors commission, the Brokerage houses may have to cut standard 6% commission divided between the listing and the selling agent to 3% or less. The Seller will pay his Agent and now the Buyer may have to pay his Agent out of his pocket. This will have a tremendous effect as more than 25% of the Realtors are expected to leave the industry. So its possible that a Realtor may only net $5,000 on a $500,000 sale, and still do all the work.
How much will a Loan agent make on the similar transaction considering in most cases the Realtor gives them the hot lead.
