Proud to support the Bearcats and a wonderful cause.

The Varsity Football Cheerleaders were honored to celebrate and honor those who have fought or are fighting a cancer diagnosis by hosting their annual Tackle Cancer fundraiser. Students and staff at Dexter High School participated in numerous fundraisers during Tackle Cancer week, October 6-10, ending with a big Bearcat win Friday night! Not only did the touchdowns scored that night win the game, they also added to the total amount raised - thanks to our Bearcat Touchdown sponsors.

With our combined efforts, we were able to raise just over $3,500 for 18 Fore Life. This money will go to those who receive a cancer diagnosis to help them in their fight to TACKLE CANCER! The Varsity football cheerleaders and players would like to thank our generous sponsors as well as the students and staff at DHS for helping make this event a success! Thank you to everyone in our community and those that traveled far to help with the cleanup efforts. While it may look like there is still much to be accomplished, a LOT of work hours were put in by many this week. We live in a blessed community!
