The Cameron Balloon of the Week is always a random drawing between our serial numbers, so s/n 6883 falling on National Dog Day is the best coincidence we could have asked for! This 2019-built Z-90 known as "Wagz" was designed around the envelope owner's golden retriever - complete with 3D nose appendage.

The 2026 BFA U.S. Nationals have officially wrapped up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska! Congratulations to every pilot who competed and helped make this a fantastic championship.

A special congratulations to the podium finishers:
Jonathan Wright - 3rd Place
John Petrehn - 2nd Place
Landon Kohtz - 2026 U.S. National Champion

We’re especially proud to celebrate two outstanding accomplishments from Cameron pilots. Congratulations to Chris Garcia, who earned Rookie of the Year honors flying a ZL-60, and to Sanne Haarhuis, the highest-finishing female pilot in the field, flying an XT-65!

Finally, a huge thank you to the event staff, officials, volunteers, and scoring teams who worked tirelessly to put on a great championship despite some incredibly challenging weather conditions!

We're throwing it back to 1994 for this week's Cameron Balloon of the Week! This week's balloon is S/N 5915, a 1994-built O-77. While our O-Type envelopes highlight more bulbous patterns, this stunner goes the extra mile by adding more curved special cuts to add to the eye-capturing look.
