Twelve members of our team, representing departments across the bank, attended the Maine Bankers Association’s Women and Allies in Banking Conference in Freeport yesterday where our own Vicki Alward, EVP and Chief Operating Officer, had the honor of leading a fireside chat with inspiring women leaders from Maine’s banking and financial services industry. The discussion highlighted their career journeys, leadership experiences and insights into the challenges and opportunities facing women in finance.

It was a great day of learning, networking and celebrating women in banking!

A little color can go a long way in brightening someone’s day! Through our annual Pay It Forward program, our Dexter team chose to use their funds earlier this year to purchase new planters for the Dexter Healthcare Rehabilitation Center. Last week, they returned to fill them with bright, cheerful mums for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy throughout the fall season. Thank you to our Dexter team for continuing to find thoughtful ways to give back to those in our communities and thank you to Dexter Healthcare for having us!

Our team was honored to be named the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors (KVBR) 2026 Affiliate of the Year at their Annual Meeting and Affiliate Trade Show last week!

We’re proud to support KVBR, its Young Professionals Network and the many events that bring local professionals together to strengthen our communities. Thank you to the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors for this recognition and for allowing our team to be part of all that you do. And, of course, we’ll happily accept the shout-out for our coordinated team outfits, too!

Our Madison Branch would like to send a sincere thank you to everyone who donated to their “Care & Share” Kids Food Drive for the Madison School Pantry! Because of everyone’s generosity, our team was able to deliver all of the donated items to the school yesterday, to help ensure that local students have the food, hygiene items and other essentials they need for a successful school year.
