Welcome to Invest MotorCity! We are a small real estate and property management company who primarily focuses on properties in Detroit. We are passionate about improving the lives of all of our tenants and we’re looking for someone who is friendly, detail oriented to help manage day-to-day operations!
About this job:
• Part-time: 10-20 hours/week, primarily work remotely from home with occasional visits to properties, when required
• Will receive a work cell phone to receive and make official calls
• Salary based on experience: $10-$15 per hour.
Core Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Help oversee day-to-day operational management of buildings, including managing and supervising any staff assigned to properties.
• Provide administrative support; managing calendars, meeting scheduling arrangements, incoming and outgoing invoices, expense reports and vendor/consultant agreements; keep contacts database up-to-date.
• Achieve customer service excellence by building strong tenant relationships that exceed expectations. Anticipate tenant needs, provide positive and prompt response to service requests, and administer affairs in a strategic fashion that benefits the tenants and the property.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills
• Assist with the collection of rent, monitor expenses & compliance with lease terms
• Ambitious, engaging and positive self-starter that is flexible, patient and open-minded with a great attitude.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Work Experience:
• High School degree required, Associates/Bachelors or Real License preferred
• Real estate experience (or interest in Real Estate), strongly preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be organized and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge and skills in contract administration, lease administration, tenant relations, and construction activities
• Ability to respond to all inquiries and complaints in a prompt and effective manner
• Willingness to learn online Property Management software.
