On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Molina Healthcare remembers those we lost, honors the bravery of our first responders, the resilience of survivors and reflects on the enduring strength of our nation.

Young people can face challenges at school, at home and with friends that may feel overwhelming. Having a trusted adult who listens, checks in and takes their feelings seriously can make a difference.

Parents, caregivers and other trusted adults can help by:
• Making time for open, judgment-free conversations
• Paying attention to changes in mood or behavior
• Reminding young people that asking for help is a sign of strength
• Connecting them with support when they need it

This month, take time to check in with the young people in your life. A simple conversation can remind them they are heard, supported and never alone.

Do you know what PMOS is? PMOS stands for polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, formerly known as polycystic O***y syndrome or PCOS. It’s a common but often misdiagnosed hormonal condition that affects millions of women.

PMOS is driven by the effects of androgen (a group of hormones in the body) and changes in how your body uses a hormone called insulin, which controls blood sugar. Talk to your doctor if you experience any of the symptoms in this graphic — they may be caused by PMOS.

Although the exact cause of PMOS is still unknown and there is currently no cure, there are ways to manage it.

Molina Healthcare of Michigan, in collaboration with The MolinaCares Accord, is donating $100,000 to the Saginaw Community Food Club and Kitchen to support construction of a new facility that will help local families access healthy, affordable food. The funding will support construction, goods and equipment, with completion planned for late 2026.

The new Food Club will offer an income-based membership program designed to give families greater access to nutritious foods while providing the dignity and choice of shopping for their own groceries.
