Candidates ask me all the time what it takes to be a successful agent. My answer is simple: the people who thrive don’t ever give up. They work hard and show up every day. They are coachable, and they set goals and then find ways to meet and exceed them.

Today I had the honor of watching my special needs son cross the stage at his college graduation. Was it easy to get him to this “finish line”? Absolutely not. But every day, every year, we built a team to help him grow into the best version of himself. To say that I’m proud is an incredible understatement.

We should all be like my son Ethan: hard-working, kind, caring, and focused on helping others and doing what’s right.
