Everyone should have received their annual invoice by now in the past we have included the annual financial report. This was passed out at the annual meeting we encourage everyone to attend. I can send this to you by email if it is needed. Just send your name and email with your request.

The dues were increased from 185$ to 195$ this year due to cost of living expenses (maintenance costs). The hoa dues have not been increased in the last 20+ years since the homes were built. This has been due to the hard work volunteers have put in the past 20 yrs to keep these costs low

We're in need of Board Members! Please let us know if you are interested, no experience necessary - other than a desire to keep our neighborhood nice. Email us at [email protected] or please come to the annual meeting.
Without volunteer board members, an alternative is to contract services through a management company - which can cost $8000+ per year.

Due to some recurring issues occurring on HOA common properties, the HOA board has unanimously adopted the following policy pursuant to Section 2.02 of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the Glen Hills Addition:

• Any person under the age of 18 present on the HOA common property must be in the direct and immediate supervision of a parent or legal guardian that is a resident of an HOA member property.
• The parent or legal guardian resident will be responsible for compliance with acceptable behavior and ensure that HOA property is left in an appropriate manner.
• Guests under the age of 18 (those individuals not residing in a HOA member property) must be supervised in a like manner by the host parent or legal guardian, but will be limited to two individuals per member property.
• Any individual under the age of 18 that is not supervised as above will be asked to leave the HOA common property and will be considered trespassing.

The HOA board reserves the right to grant exceptions to this policy on an individual case basis.

A few notes about trash service:
The City of Derby has indicated that trash and recycling pick up days in Glen Hills will be changing the week of November 7; our new day will be Wednesdays:

The city has also asked HOAs to remind residents about ordinances regarding placement of trash and recycling bins:

However, a reminder that covenants provide that "...containers may be placed in the open on any day that a pickup is to be made.." and "At all other times, such containers shall be stored in such a manner so that they cannot be seen from adjacent and surrounding properties."
