The E-Bike problem.
Did you know currently, that you are personally responsible for damages done by an e-bike should you be in the wrong?

If you or a family member of your household should hit a car, you must personally pay for any damages out of your personal savings. E-bikes do not fall under homeowners liability nor are they covered under your personal auto.
Yes e-bike insurance is coming, which will require bike to be registered, and operated by someone of legal age to operate. We have seen claims from $800 to $12,000 along w. Personal injury to the operator of the bike. Numerous life ending accidents have happened as well nationally.

Please reconsider your holiday gift if an e-bike is on it for a family member.

With the holidays right around the corner, the roads are getting busier, and the weather isn’t making it any easier.
 
Here are a few quick tips to help keep you and your loved ones safe this winter:

1. Slow down & increase your following distance. Icy roads mean longer stopping times, even if they look clear.

2. Keep your tires winter-ready. Check tread depth and tire pressure regularly as temperatures drop.

3. Clear all windows before driving. Frost, snow, and fog can create dangerous blind spots.

4. Avoid sudden braking or sharp turns. Smooth, controlled movements help prevent skidding.

5. Keep an emergency kit in your car. Blankets, gloves, a flashlight, phone charger, and some snacks go a long way if you get stuck.

6. Plan for extra travel time. Holiday traffic + winter weather = delays. Leave early to avoid rushing.

7. Never drive distracted. Stay focused—conditions can change fast.
