I'm a recording musician (with six records to my credit), an environmental and social activist, the founder and treasurer of a local non-profit, the owner of a renowned recording studio, an active real estate investor and I've been known to cook up quite a feast. I grew up outside of New York City and have lived on both coasts, as well as in the United States Virgin Islands, the Republic of Latvia

and the Republic of Georgia. I've traveled extensively throughout the United States, as well as Western and Eastern Europe, and have backpacked throughout the Alaskan bush. Sit down with me, and you will see that I have a style all my own. Understanding the needs of the client and educating them are my primary focus, and I take each client’s satisfaction very seriously as I know what it is like to be on the other side of the table — and I know how I like to be treated. I have generated a reputation for maintaining the highest level of integrity, loyalty and keeping the client’s needs at the forefront of every decision. I continue to earn referrals from the most successful real estate professionals, CPAs and financial planners in the area. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1993. After spending eight years working in the wireless telecommunication industry in various sales, international marketing and business development positions, I made a career change and entered the mortgage business in 2001. I have received many awards, including “Rookie of The Year” and numerous Top Ten Producer honors, and I'm consistently a member of the “President’s Club.” I am also a Certified Mortgage Planner and a recipient of 5280 Magazine's Five-Star Mortgage Professional Award. I have closed more than $400 million in loans and continue to excel both in volume and customer satisfaction. I currently reside in the hills outside of Nederland, CO, with my wife, Rebecca, and daughters, Abilene and Kalkidan. I enjoy songwriting, playing and producing music, fly-fishing for trout, backpacking, a good night’s sleep, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

We now offer a 3-2-1 temporary buydown program.

Borrowers reduce their loan interest rate by 3% in the first year, 2% in the second year, and 1% in the third year. For example, a 7% mortgage would be just 4% in year one.

When interest rates come down, and it's a good time to refinance, the borrower is able to get back the unused buydown fees which are held in escrow.

***A Boulder County Real Estate Market Snapshot***

Last month, single-family homes sold for a higher median price than the prior month and year.

However, 96 sellers dropped their list price in December 2022 compared to 44 in 2021.

We expect the housing supply to increase in January and sellers to continue making concessions.
