We were proud to be a sponsor of the 2026 Kenny White Memorial Golf Tournament last week. This charity tournament is named after a friend of Aurora Fire Rescue who lost his life on 9/11. All proceeds from this event go to the Firefighters of Aurora Benevolent Fund and their mission of helping firefighters, first reponders and their families.

Memorial Day isn’t about the long weekend.

It’s about the men and women who left home serving this country and never made it back. Their ultimate sacrifice is what we honor today and everyday. Forever grateful.

This Memorial Day, we honor the 38 young men from Aurora who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. "The Local Cost of Freedom: Aurora’s Fallen in the Sesquisemiquincentennial Story" connects local stories to the broader history of sacrifice across our nation and state. During this year of historic milestones, this exhibit offers a space for reflection and remembrance for those who never came home. Visit "The Local Cost of Freedom" and learn the stories of Aurora's fallen 38 before the exhibit closes on July 11.

Education creates opportunity for individuals and strengthens our entire community. We’re grateful the Community College of Aurora is helping students overcome unexpected financial hardships so they can continue pursuing their goals. Count on us to continue supporting these impactful efforts!

This year, three local credit unions stepped up to support CCA’s Student Emergency Assistance Program. The District Credit Union, Ent Credit Union, and Aurora Federal Credit Union
contributed funding and special resources after an unprecedented increase in student emergency needs last fall. Their support kept the program funded for the full academic year.
