🚨 Heads up, agents — appraisals are about to look completely different.
Starting Nov 2, all the old appraisal forms (1004, 1073, 1025… all of them) get replaced with a brand new format called UAD 3.6. It’s the biggest change to appraisals in over a decade, and most agents have no idea it’s coming
Here’s why it matters to YOU: appraisers will need more property detail upfront, the reports themselves will look completely different, and there’s likely to be some bumps while everyone gets used to the new system.
If you’ve got anything closing late October or November, build in a little extra buffer — financing is where this could slow things down first.
