That means when you apply for a mortgage, you shouldn’t get bombarded with dozens of calls from lenders you’ve never spoken to. Lenders will need to have an existing relationship with you before reaching out for marketing purposes. A great step forward for transparency and consumer protection in the mortgage process — and for doing business the right way from the start. 😉🥳

Over the past few months, I had the opportunity to facilitate financial literacy workshops for parents within Denver Public Schools, offered in English, Spanish, and with Vietnamese interpretation.

Huge thank you to DPS FACE (Family and Community Engagement) for the opportunity to do this work and for their commitment to supporting families across languages and communities.

We focused on the fundamentals — budgeting, money habits, and financial awareness — because here’s the truth:

You can’t sustainably buy or keep a home without strong financial literacy — and without it, we don’t truly understand or leverage generational wealth in meaningful ways.

Grateful for the engagement, the questions, and the community built in these spaces 💛
