Learned something new today…

Did you know that Texas home equity lending regulations limit certain lender fees to 2% of the loan amount?

“What’s that mean?”

Because many of the routine expenses associated with originating a loan are fixed regardless of the loan size, some investors establish minimum loan amounts - often around $75,000 - simply to make these loans economically feasible. 🤯

Anyways, there’s a nugget of mortgage nerdism to make your day more boring.

Beyond the iconic role, his message about advocacy, resilience, and showing up for children in need was powerful. Grateful to be part of a community that prioritizes protecting and uplifting its most vulnerable. 💙
