We took Isa's tire to get fixed here today! We walked in not knowing how fast or how much it would be and we were pleasantly surprised!! We were able to drop and pickup within our lunch time 😊 super friendly service for a great price! From one small businesses to another😊

These bikes aren't going to ride themselves!! Look, we get it - you don't ride anymore, and you're too busy to start. Yet many people really enjoy and even depend on the fact that the bike shop is here to fix their bikes and tires. However, to do that, we have certain overhead costs to meet every day, which essentially translates into the fact that we need to sell at least one bike every single day. Service alone doesn't even come close to meeting these costs.

In 2020, when we started in Cedaredge, we were selling at least 1 bike every day, sometimes 2 or 3. That number decreased to about 3-4 bikes per week in 2021, and it has been steadily declining as each year passes, even though we've moved down valley to Delta, to a very convenient and accessible location. Nowadays, we only sell 3 or 4 bikes per month, and we've been sitting on some eBikes for over a year. This is unsustainable, and now that sales have all but quit since mid-June, we are almost certainly going to have to close the shop for good, come the end of summer. Most people would have a nervous breakdown over the amount of debt this shop carries.

All I can do is show up every day and turn out bikes. It's you people who ultimately pay the bills around here, and you vote with your dollars, which businesses are worth keeping around and which ones to kick to the curb. I'm glad to see that the massage, dog grooming, fabrication, and construction businesses are doing well in Delta... I'll know where to look for a job come this fall.
