Giving is personal. The causes we support often reflect our experiences, our families and the things we care deeply about.
I've always valued giving back, whether that means volunteering my time, serving on boards or supporting organizations doing meaningful work in our communities.

In a New York minute… 🗽

A special thank you to our Ameriprise RVP, AndrewJohnson as well as the team at Franklin Templeton for your time, talent, and incredible meeting space!

There's so much value in getting together regularly with my Elite Growth Group. We learn from each other, help each other, and have honest conversations about our successes, challenges, and goals for the future. Being part of a group where we can be vulnerable with one another is humbling, and something I don't take for granted. I'd like to think we make each other better advisors, better leaders of our practices, and more compassionate humans along the way.

And we sure do have some fun when we're together!

Believe it or not, this was my first time in New York City, so there were a few things we simply had to do! A Broadway show, riding in a yellow taxi, navigating the subway, exploring the city, and of course, enjoying some New York pizza, bagels, and cheesecake.

I think one of the best things about this group is knowing that no matter where we are in our careers, we still have so much to learn from one another. I'm grateful for the friendships, the different perspectives, and the willingness to share both the good and the difficult parts of what we do.

It’s not necessarily about saying “no.” It’s about understanding what you can comfortably give, setting boundaries and making sure today’s support isn’t quietly changing what retirement looks like for you.

I like this question because it shifts the conversation away from simply accumulating more. Money is a tool, and ultimately, what matters is what you want it to help you do.

There is something special about finding a place that immediately makes you slow down.
I visited a lavender field and loved everything about it... rows of lavender, the earthy simplicity of the surroundings and, of course, a little shop filled with all things lavender. The scent alone seemed to set the tone.
What stayed with me most was how peaceful it felt. Nothing elaborate or overdone. Just simple, natural and calm.
Life moves pretty quickly most days, so I appreciate places that remind me how good it can feel to slow down, look around and enjoy where you are. 💜
