Open enrollment is here! 2023 data is out and Simply Benefits, LLC is here ready to help.
Everything is electronic as it was last year. The 2023 open enrollment period runs November 1, 2022, through January 15, 2023.
Enroll by December 15 to have coverage start January 1, 2023.
Enroll by January 15 to have coverage start February 1, 2023.
2023 Medical Plan Options (plans on & off MNsure)
Click on/hover over the link below to put in the names and ages (as of January 1, 2023) of your family members who would potentially be covered on the plan. All the plans that are available to you and their costs will then be listed. Make sure to see if your doctors are IN network for the plan you are choosing. There is a ‘Find A Doctor’ on the right side for you to click. Once you have reviewed the plan options and picked your desired plan, click ‘APPLY’. We will then email you the link to apply for 2023 coverage.

If you are NOT making any changes to your plan, you do NOT need to do anything. Your insurance carrier will automatically renew your coverage.
NOTE for MNsure Clients
You should have received a MNsure renewal letter by now. Please do NOT throw or file this away until you have read EVERY page. The 1st or 2nd page may state that you are approved and that you may (or may not) be getting a subsidy of a certain amount. DO NOT STOP READING! It is on the later pages that you will see that MNsure will approve the subsidy ONLY IF the requested paperwork is submitted. READ THE ENTIRE NOTICE…OR LOG IN TO YOUR MNSURE ACCOUNT TO VIEW YOUR NOTICES ONLINE! If MNsure is requesting more data from you, they will likely need this data BEFORE you can receive your actual new subsidy dollar amount.
Some of you may also have received MNsure paperwork stating that you need to update your Tax Filing information to allow MNsure to see your taxes. The reason for this is because you ‘allowed’ this sharing of tax data in prior years and that ‘allowed’ time has expired. Please make sure to fill out that paperwork and send it back ASAP. NOTE: Not doing this step will delay your subsidy being calculated and may result in you paying full premiums.
If you would like to keep your same plan via MNsure but it is no longer available through MNsure, your insurance company will automatically enroll you in that same plan if it is still available (outside MNsure) and you will NOT receive any financial help. Because of this, MNsure strongly encourages you to compare plans on MNsure if you want to utilize any financial help.
Please add us as your MNsure Assistor so we can better assist you. For us to be able to do anything with you and your MNsure account, you have to make us your Assistor on your MNsure account. Our Assistor number is 5383430, and the agent is Stephanie J. Cappelleri.
NOTE for MNcare and Medical Assistance Clients
Please contact your county for more information on your 2023 coverage. This coverage is handled strictly by them.
