I wondered after having kids why I often heard being a grand parent was “better” and now I have this tiny piece of heaven on earth. I realized, it’s not better but it is different. You love them dearly as you love your children dearly but now you are wiser and don’t have to discipline or worry about providing and ensuring that they have what they need. Your job is to love and mostly spoil! Ah what a joy!!!! Her papa (grandpa) and I buy her things, take her places and love her. Being a grandparent in our case Aba and papa is a gift that we didn’t know we needed

I was born in Venezuela and came to the United States at just 15 years old, carrying dreams, hope, and a whole lot of determination. 🇺🇸
