While most of Ohio is waking up with a cup of coffee, Ohio farmers are already three hours into their day. On , we’re giving a huge shoutout to the men and women working long hours to bring home the 2026 harvest.

From our dairy barns and grain fields to our orchards and livestock pastures—thank you for feeding our state, our country, and the world! Ohio Farm Bureau is proud to stand with you.

What a week…..and it’s only Wednesday!!

Monday - Defiance County Farm Bureau annual meeting and our office was recognized with a Friends of Agriculture Award which was such an honor!! We love our farm families and Farm Bureau and are so incredibly lucky to serve alongside them year after year.

Tuesday - Fulton County Annual Meeting and another great turnout.

Wednesday - we volunteered at the Farm Science Review in London Ohio. I worked the health plans booth and they drove farmers from all over to and from their cars by golf cart. Darla and Patti braved the rain and mud like champs - what an awesome event this is every year and we are so happy to be a part of it.

So many thanks to Ohio Farm Bureau and Nationwide Insurance - we are on YOUR side!

It’s time for 2026 FARM SCIENCE REVIEW !!

9/22- 9/26 come down to FSR - on Wednesday, see Jill at the Farm Bureau building building to ask questions on the new Ohio Farm Bureau individual and family health plans.

Even better - flag down Darla and Patti as they transport visitors to and from the parking lots at FSR. Just when your feet can’t carry you another step - no worries….these girls will rescue you!!

Attention all farmers who custom feed - be sure you have Care, Custody and Control coverage for the value of those non owned livestock. 6,000 head will be a large loss that Heimerl (or whoever you work with ) will want paid for.

I’ve reviewed quite a few farms lately that are missing this very important coverage.
