Meet Andy Bien-Aime, one of our Senior Public Adjusters!

Andy is a proud Florida State University graduate, where he earned a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Before entering the public adjusting field, he spent nearly 10 years in the mortgage industry—experience that gave him valuable insight into the construction world.

Since joining Horizon in 2020, Andy has quickly built a reputation for exceptional client support and consistent accessibility. His dedication has led to numerous referrals and, ultimately, his promotion to Senior Public Adjuster.

Known for his strong work ethic and genuine passion for helping others, Andy has successfully handled a wide range of claims—from residential losses to a recent major commercial claim. We’re grateful to have him as part of the Horizon team!

Hurricane Season starts June 1st.
What’s in a name?
The National Hurricane Center uses a rotating list of 21 names for Atlantic tropical storms and hurricanes each year. The letters Q, U, X, Y, and Z are skipped because there are too few common names beginning with those letters. The names alternate between female and male.
The naming lists repeat every six years, so the 2026 list is largely the same as the one used in 2020. Storm names are only removed if a storm was especially deadly or costly. When that happens, the World Meteorological Organization retires the name and replaces it with a new one.

For 2026, the only new Atlantic storm name is Leah, which replaces Laura after Hurricane Laura, the Category 4 hurricane that caused major destruction in Louisiana in 2020.
