When asked why I work in insurance, I explain that I learned the purpose and passion of our business throughout several life events. At the young and tender age of 18, I lost my first husband in a horrific car accident when we were hit head on by a drunk driver. I don’t even want to imagine what my life would have been like had my first husband not had life insurance, medical insurance and car insurance for us. Or fast forward to Hurricane Andrew when I was remarried and had started a family to have our home, car, and business completely destroyed from the worst storm to hit our area in 100 years. What would we have done without the proper insurance coverage? Today, I have made it my mission to help as many people as I can protect themselves, their families and their financial future. I know as well as anyone how suddenly the unexpected can happen. Being prepared and having the right coverage is the reason I am where I am today. I joined State Farm in 1998 to help people get the coverage they need from the country’s preferred insurance provider. In 2002, I opened my own agency to serve families and local businesses throughout Florida with car insurance, home insurance, business insurance, life and health insurance as well as financial planning services. My team and I speak English, Spanish, Creole, French and Portuguese, but more importantly; we speak a clear language all State Farm customers can understand. My team has a combined 130+ years of experience helping residents of Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Pompano Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Margate, Parkland and all of South Florida understanding their insurance options from State Farm. When building my team, I sought out people with the same commitment to insurance customers as myself. Our service reflects that today: We genuinely care about everyone who walks into our office.
