Earlier this week, Nikki Walton, VP, Client Relations, Plexus Financial, attended the PGA of America Women’s Golf Clinic in Dallas, TX, an experience designed to build confidence in women both on the course and in business.

Invited by Fidelity Investments, Nikki joined women from a range of backgrounds and skill levels for hands-on golf instruction, networking, and conversations around the role golf can play in building and strengthening professional relationships.

Nikki took part in the beginner clinic and left ready to keep learning. She also heard from Jane Blalock, LPGA champion and founder of the Women’s Golf Clinics, about using golf as a tool for relationship development and helping more women feel confident navigating the opportunities the game can offer.

This week, Nora Cataldo, Operations Manager, Cindy Jordan, VP, Client Executive, and Joe Lebar, Operations Manager, Business Systems and Integration, attended Applied Net 2026 in Washington, D.C., joining more than 4,400 insurance professionals and technology leaders for four days focused on the future of insurance technology. With AI and automation at the forefront, the conference featured more than 250 educational sessions and hands-on labs covering tools like Applied Epic and Ivans.

One of the biggest takeaways was learning new ways to automate our processes and reduce time spent on clerical work, giving our teams more time to focus on what matters most: our clients. The team also heard from keynote speaker George W. Bush, who reflected on leadership and responsibility, and had the opportunity to network with industry peers while exploring the National Museum of Natural History and National Museum of American History after hours.
